•   Vitamin C is a natural antihistamine that has been found to prevent allergies and asthma. Studies have found that people with asthma tend to have low levels of vitamin C in their blood. In addition, double-blind controlled studies have found that as little as 1 gram of vitamin C daily can help prevent asthma attacks. Take 10 to 30 milligrams daily for every two pounds of body weight. Take in divided doses.
