The RDA for vitamin B6 is based on protein intake. Those with high protein intakes may need higher levels of vitamin B6. A1998 study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition suggests that the US RDA for women is not adequate.
Vitamin B6 recommended daily The researchers found that the amount of vitamin B6 necessary to normalize body levels of vitamin B6 metabolites after depletion was 1.94 mg.

The clinically available cyanocobalamin form of vitamin B12 should not be used in patients with hereditary optic nerve atrophy or suspected cobalt
