Fenugreek side effects

Precautions:

Do not stop taking any diabetes medications that your doctor has prescribed. This herb may or may not work for you. Instead, schedule an appointment with your physician and discuss your interest in fenugreek. Show her the evidence and express your wish to give the herb a try.

If you have type 1 diabetes, you may be able to reduce your dosage of and dependence on insulin, which causes weight gain and other problems.

If you have type 2 diabetes, you may be able to wean yourself partly off sugar-reducing synthetic medications that raise your risk for heart problems. With repeated external use, some people might experience an allergic reaction. Also, because of fenugreek's fluid-absorbing mucilage, make sure you drink a lot of water.
