Dandruff cause

Dandruff is characterized by flaking and scaling of dead skin from the scalp. This condition may be itchy and occasionally is accompanied by a scaly rash. The telltale white flakes of dandruff affect everyone to some degree, because every body is constantly shedding skin cells and growing new ones. The problem is remarkably common: as many as one in five people has a scalp that sheds enough cells to have them show up as flakes or scales.

When the proteins and fats in the scalp function properly, they maintain circulation of water and oils and keep the skin and hair healthy. Dandruff develops when the sebaceous glands in the scalp cannot adequately assimilate proteins and fats.

Occasionally Dandruff cause is an imbalance in the kidneys or liver, two organs that are responsible for eliminating toxins from the body. Dandruff doesn't hurt the hair, it doesn't cause baldness, and it doesn't mean the hair is greasy or unclean.
